Steel, Eye Hook, Black Sand
This human-scale puppet controller is built from welded steel and installed directly on a bed of black sand. The sketch functions as a map of the relationship between control apparatus and the actual human body. The black sand, formed where molten lava meets the ocean, marks a site of encounter: two opposing forces transforming each other on contact. Metal here remains hard, cold, and directive.
